今天分享动词—— thank

初中阶段关于 thank 的重点有两个短语，很多同学知其一却不知其二；

thanks（三单）- thanking（现在分词）- thanked（过去式）- thanked（过去分词）

一、thank 作动词，表示“感谢，感激”

1、thank sb. for sth./doing 因...而感谢...（重点掌握）

Thank you for your help. 谢谢你的帮助。

Thank you for your gift. 谢谢你的礼物。

I will thank Tom for lending me his storybook.

我要谢谢汤姆借给我他的故事书。

There is no need to thank me.

没有必要感谢我。

2、thank god / goodness 谢天谢地

（理解即可）

Thank goodness. You get back.

谢天谢地，你回来了！

二、thank 作可数名词，表示“感谢，感谢”

give thanks to 向...致谢

express one's thanks 表达感谢

We all should give thanks to our country.

我们都应该向祖国致谢。

I don't know how to express my thanks for your help.

对于你的帮助，我都不知道该如何表达谢意了。

1、thanks to... 幸亏...多亏... （重点掌握）

Thanks to your help, I finally passed the exam.

多亏了你的帮助， 我最终才能通过考试。

Thanks to his advice, we succeeded.

幸亏有他的建议我们才能成功。

thanks 除了是名词的含义，还可以做感叹词，表示“感谢，感激”；

常见表示感谢的短语：

Thank you!

Thank you so/very much!

Thanks a lot.

Many thanks.

Thanks a million.

Would you like...？表示礼貌询问时；

肯定回答： Yes, please.

否定回答： No, thanks.

Would you like some coffee? 要来点咖啡吗？

Would you like to have some salad? 您要来点沙拉吗？

Yes, please. 好的，谢谢。

No, thanks. 不用了，谢谢。
