see that当然可以直接理解成看那个。

但是英语表达中see that经常被用于一个搭配：

see that someone does something/that something is done

表达的意思是：

to make sure that someone does something or that something happens.

确保某人做某事，或者保证某事发生。

怎么用呢？

看几个英文例句：

See that the door is locked before you leave.

在你离开前，确保门锁了。

* 注意口语化词串：the door is locked 门锁了。

see that在这里类似make sure the door is locked。

当然除了用于这种祈使句，还可以用于疑问句：

Can you see that everything’s ready in time?

你能确保一切都及时准备好吗？

当然要注意啊，see that的理解也要看前后场景判断意思。

因为在下面这句话中see that表示看得出来哈。

I see that you two have already introduced yourselves.

我看得出来你们两个已经自我介绍过了。

但是如果口语中听到I see that，然后没后续了。

这个时候表达的意思就是类似：

I can see that: what you’re saying makes sense to me.

表示你说得有道理，我能够清晰理解明白。

比如说：

He said there aren't many opportunities for him here so he had to go. And I can see that. He just didn’t fit in here.

他说在这里没有太多的机会，所以他不得不离开。我能理解。他只是不适应这里。

* 注意词串fit in适应某个环境，地方。

尤其是新入职，或者去新学校，适应融入的过程就是叫fit in。
