Stay the night at the Great Wall

The Great Wall of China is one of the greatest wonders of the world. Every day more than 27,000 visitors come here. Last fall, eight lucky people won a night at the Great Wall from Sept. 4 to Sept. 7. It was a special experience. Nobody but them has stayed the night there yet.

With the help of historians (历史学家), a company turned a watch tower into a special room. There was a bedroom and a bathroom. But it had no roof (屋顶). Guests could see the beautiful sky at night.

The eight people also took a hike (徒步) through China’s countryside and learned about the history of the Great Wall. It was very cool, wasn’t it?
